Which Christmas markets can I visit on a day trip from Berlin?
In 2026 we run group day trips from Berlin to Wernigerode (21 Nov), the Dresden Striezelmarkt (28 Nov), Szczecin (5 Dec), Rostock (6 Dec) and Görlitz (12 Dec). There is also a 2-day Meetup trip to the Erzgebirge with the Schwarzenberg Christmas market (16–17 Dec).
How do we travel?
By regional train, using the Deutschland-Ticket both ways. Train tickets are not included in the trip price, so bring your own Deutschland-Ticket.
How long does a trip take?
About 14 hours. The Wernigerode trip leaves Berlin Gesundenbrunnen at 07:00 and returns around 20:45.
What is included?
A guided group day with a local walk. Some ticket options also include castle entry and Glühwein from our partners – check the ticket description on Eventbrite.
Can I cancel?
Eventbrite tickets can be refunded up to 2 days before the trip.
How do I join a trip marked “available soon”?
